We recommend buying a complete Avatour kit from us, but if you plan to procure your own hardware, here's what you need for an Insta360 ONE X setup.
For ease-of-use and quick deployment, pre-assembled and tested Avatour kits are available directly from us (Contact sales@avatour.live for more information). However, if you want to acquire your own hardware, here's a list of the components you'll need.
1. Camera and required accessories
Hosting a real-time Avatour session requires a 360° camera. One option would be the Insta360 ONE X which is compatible with both select iOS and Android devices.
The Insta360 One X comes with a GoPro-style mount but nowhere to put your phone. The hardware needed to set up Avatour including the connecting cable, a phone/camera mount, and the cold shoe adapter needed for that phone/camera mount setup are listed below

Please note, only transfer cables procured directly from the OEM Insta360 are compatible for Avatour usage. Most third-party cables are not suitable for handling a continuous live video stream and we don't recommend purchasing models outside of the listed above. 2. Recommended Mounting Hardware
Most users will require a stand and mount for the camera. A good option is the combination of a mini tripod base and an extendable selfie stick, as linked below. However, any standard 1/4"-20 mount will work. See our article on alternate mounting options for alternatives.

3. Bluetooth Audio Device
With an Insta360 ONE X Avatour setup, the audio would come through the speaker on the Android or IOS device being used. If noise cancellation and additional clarity are needed then the following Bluetooth audio options have been tested and can be paired with your device via the phone's setting menu.

4. Charging & Battery
You'll need to manage power for these devices. If you intend to operate longer than the ~80 min provided by the camera's standard battery, we recommend ordering a backup battery and hot-swapping them as needed. This will temporarily interrupt the video feed until replaced and the connection is reestablished.
